Performance Characteristics Of Tungsten Steel Strips

The matrix of tungsten steel rod is composed of two parts: one part is hardening phase; the other part is bonding metal. Binder metals are generally iron group metals, commonly used are cobalt and nickel. Therefore, there are tungsten-cobalt alloys, tungsten-nickel alloys and tungsten-titanium-cobalt alloys. Known as the teeth of modern industry, tungsten steel strips are used in a wide range of fields. The performance characteristics of tungsten steel strips are as follows:
1. The density is high, g/cm2: 11.0-15.0. The density of tungsten steel materials for different purposes is not the same. It can also be said that the tungsten steel materials of different densities have different uses, and they should be purchased according to the needs.
2. High strength, the strength of tungsten steel materials for different purposes is different.
3. High hardness, 82.0-93.6HRA, equivalent to 69-81HRC, the hardness requirements of tungsten steel materials for different purposes are not the same.
4. Good red hardness, up to 900-1000°C, no deformation at 60HRC.
5. Good wear resistance, can process hard metal materials such as stainless steel and cast iron.
